Volkswagen, shortened to VW, is the German automaker that has been a crowd favorite for a long time. The Volkswagen, since its foundation in 1937, has grown to become the largest automaker in the world. So if you’re looking to buy a luxury sportscar, be sure that between the Audi Q5 and Q7 and the Porsche Cayenne, you will see that Volkswagen has kicked it up a notch with its Exclusive package for the Touareg.
The Touareg was initially available solely in its domestic German market, and benefitted from a number of special touches. Many of these exclusive features are available on the standard model but can be found in this one bundled into a single package. These include an option of three wheels (one set of 19s as standard, a different set as a no-cost option and extra-cost 20-inchers) along with the added chrome and silver roof rails.
The interior of the Touareg is fitted with two-tone Nappa leather called “cool leather”, found in either beige and black or burgundy and black. The seats are specially trimmed to stay cool and is heated with 12 ways to adjust it. And as an added touch, its olive wood trim, black headliner and stainless steel sill plates round out the package perfectly.
The Touareg Exclusive can be ordered from anywhere in Germany considering that that all of the engines available on the customary model (including diesel and gasoline BlueMotion V6s, the V8 TDI and the V6 hybrid) are in stock. But Volkswagen still hasn’t confirmed whether the North American market will receive a similar Exclusive package. So full press release will occur after the jump.
The Touareg contains a leather seat system that includes heated front seat with electro-pneumatically adjustable backrest side bolsters, a 12-way heat setting, and head restraints with longitudinal and latitudinal height adjustment. Similarly, the leather door inserts, a black headliner and sill panel strips in stainless steel with exclusive lettering are also inclusive. Decorative elements include real wood in “Olive Silk Gloss” round off the exclusive atmosphere of the interior.
The Touareg also contains a standard fit of 19-inch “Salamanca” alloy wheels, painted in Sterling Silver. The “Girona” wheel almost has the same dimensions and can be ordered at no extra cost. Another option is provided, the extravagant 20-inch “Tarragona” wheel, which gives the Touareg a particularly individual aptitude. The exterior has been characterized by its “Chrome & Style” package and roof rails in anodized silver, unique to all the other Volkswagens.
Volkswagen promises to uphold its reputation for years to come as it releases one after another masterpiece, each better than the previous one. After the press release on 12th October, 2010 at Wolfsburg, Volkswagen has now redefined luxury. The New Touareg Exclusive is an exclusively equipped model that leaves nothing to the imagination and nothing to be desired.
